My name is Charles Berlepsch, also known as “Lepsch”, and I shoot things. With cameras. And then I edit the crap out of them. Don’t worry I’m not a trigger-happy maniac, but I would consider myself an expert in production, editing, and cinematography. My strongest passion lies in finding new and engaging ways to tell a story. I have extensive global film experience, have filmed and edited for clients in 4 continents, and recently felt it wise to hire my own Sherpa - given the amount of travel I am accustomed to. I have a natural affinity for anything that is visually creative, and I am on a never-ending search for that next great idea or project - the more unique and out of the ordinary the better. For the past few years, I have called the New York Metropolitan Area my home, yet my freelance opportunites have taken me all over the globe - from shooting documentaries in Haiti and Honduras, to capturing missionary efforts in New Guinea, providing consultation and video services for corporate clients in London, and back to a New York recording studio to film a drummer in a bunny costume (dont ask). The more I travel, the more I have discovered that there is a story everywhere, and all you need is the right perspective, attention to detail, a camera, copious amounts of coffee, and Fiber 1 Bars.
